Bridges Together

Bridges Together, was a nonprofit organization, that grew out of the work of I began in 1991 while studying sociology and gerontology before completing a master’s degree in intergenerational studies. More than 25,000 older adults and children have been impacted by the relationships they have formed through the BRIDGES Program Curricula. In addition, Bridges Together has trained teachers (preschool thorough high school, as well as college professors), librarians, senior center staff members and other leaders on the need for intergenerational programs and how to create effective ones.

The organization was dissolved in 2020. I continue to provide training on why we need strong intergenerational programs and how to create effective ones. Communities continue to use the BRIDGES Program Curricula as well as the How-To-Guides I've developed over the years.
